Job Description

You will work as part of an open, multi-disciplinary team to bring innovations based on Affinité’s biosensing technology to address global challenges faced by researchers and clinicians. Your work environment is a great opportunity for both personal and professional growth. The successful candidate must have bookkeeping experiences in Quebec to ensure smooth company financial operations. Your daily responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Account account reconciliation (multi-banks)

  • Reconcilation of inter-companies accounts

  • Balance inter-bank accounts

  • Data analysis and process (e.g. sales report verification and discrepancies rectification)

  • Prepare fixed assets amortization schedule

  • Annual adjustment of municipal tax/school tax/insurance

  • Reconcilation of GL accounts. Preparation of detailed description if necessary

  • Year-end adjustment entries (e.g. accrued accounts, prepaid accounts etc.) and closing entries

  • Process AP and AR

  • Report montly GST/QST

  • Payroll processing and DAS remittance

  • Preparation of financial statement

  • Year-end filings to government: T4 RL1summary and CSST declaration

  • Dealing with company suppliers, invoices, equipment purchase, office maintenance and other administrative tasks

Qualifications & Experiences
  • College or University degree in accounting

  • Bilingual in French and English.

  • Inside sales experiences a big plus
